Norelco offers three models in its Moisturizing Shaving System line - the
8020X, the 8040X and the 8060X (pictured).
An official company
press release from August 2007, when the new models were launched, said:
For men who want a close shave and healthy skin, the Philips Norelco
Moisturizing Shaving System combines the shaving expertise of the world's
number one electric shave brand and the skin care knowledge of NIVEA FOR
MEN. The integrated NIVEA FOR MEN lotion provides an extra comfortable shave
that conditions your skin and creates a healthy look.
According to a product description:
* NIVEA FOR MEN shaving conditioner is dispensed directly onto your skin for
a moisturizing and soothing shave.
* Integrated cartridge refill system.
* The flex tracker automatically tracks the curves of your face and helps to
protect against skin irritation.
* The shaving heads have unique glide rings to help the shaver move smoothly
over your face.
* Wet use shaving in the shower saves time and gives you the fresh sensation
of wet shaving.
The top-of-the-line 8060X includes a "refill and charge stand" that
automatically refills the shaver with conditioner and keeps it fully charged
at all times. The cheaper 8020X takes longer to recharge than the other two

I found the shave with the 8060X to be quite good, although it took me
several uses to get something approximating what I can do with a blade. I
imagine I will get even better as time goes on. If you're used to shaving
with a blade, you'll have an adjustment period where you'll wonder how close
a shave you really can get. But keep working at it. If you're used to
shaving with an electric razor that's not wet/dry, I think you're really
going to like the Philips Norelco Moisture Shaving System. It's a big step
up from dry electric razors.
