Following on from the success of the Mangroomer Do-It-Yourself Electric Back Hair Shaver comes the same company's Essential Nose and Ear Hair Trimmer. You can read more at the official corporate website.

I have not been able to find online any independent, objective reviews of the trimmer, although I found when I did my own review of the Philips Norelco NT9110 Nose and Ear Trimmer that there is not a lot of difference between these various, competing products.

However, sales sites like Amazon.com carry very useful consumer reviews. These often provide extremely practical guidance.

Here is an excerpt from an Amazon.com review:

I have had several nose trimmers over the years and it is nice to finally purchase one at a low cost that works great. I bought this because I already own their back shaver and am very pleased with it.

And another:

Excellent shaver for getting deep in the nostrils and all the little hairs around the nostril edge as well. Cleans easy under the faucet and good power.

And another:

Unlike other trimmers, this one does not cut too close to the skin or actually pull the hair, so it doesn't hurt, esp around the ears and nose. However since the blades do not cut too close to the skin, you will need to use it on a daily basis vs. other trimmers that cut close (but may hurt) can last few days before trimming again. Another drawback is that it's pretty loud when trimming in the ear.
